Web DevelopmentNavigation. Clarity. Legibility. Ease-of-use. Information. Fulfillment of client goals. Whether large or small, your web presence should incorporate all of these and if your site is designed at Images & Illuminations than it will. We develop, design and manage sites ranging from over 100 pages to 1 page and geared to a variety of audiences.
We also offer affordable site maintenance to our website clients.

The official site of stage and screen legends Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee was both a pleasure and an inspiration to work on. The challenge presented by the site was the massive amount of information and the wealth and depth of images. We needed to create a design that addressed the importance of this material without being archival or dated.
"If you want to work with someone who is clearly brilliant, a superb designer, has your best interest at heart, and can see two, three, or four steps ahead, run don't walk to Cheryl Hanna from Image & Illuminations. I came to Cheryl needing a website for my new business knowing absolutely nothing about the process. Cheryl took my hand and guided me step by step and created a fantastic product. As soon as my site launched, I received nothing but compliments about my site. She's wonderful."
This small site illustrates perfectly the challenge of organizing and presenting a lot of material in a limited space. Just because you don't have a large budget doesn't mean that you can't have a large presence on the web. One of our primary goals with Your Virtual Hands is to convey the appealing warmth and immediacy of a very personal and hands-on small business. And, although our focus has always been "design for the world of art and literature," when we design your small business site, we'll treat your business like the art that it is.
"We are very happy with our website and love the compliments we receive. I was greatly relieved to discover you were easy to work with. It was important that when I expressed our company’s special concerns, my need to be listened to was met. In addition to your intuitive design sense, you gave us very excellent counsel and guidance."

This medium-size site uses color and music to bring the rhythms of gospel, jazz, and blues to life. Designing within the limits of a non-profit's budget and staffing constraints is a challenge that we've often had to meet. Images & Illuminations has a lot of experience in dealing with the many challenges that confront the non-profit.
Our multi-color logo design points up the multi-dimensionality of this internationally known theater company, music publisher, music school and non-profit foundation.
